View all- OPEN CALL: Artistic concepts for a synthesis of XR & AINew04.02.26The OPEN CALL 2026 is aimed at individuals and teams from the fields of visual arts, music, literature, performing arts, design, photography and video art. It addresses the independent scene as well as small enterprises of the creative industry in Berlin. We are looking for a strong artistic concept that innovatively combines AI and XR in an interactive cultural project. This synthesis could be, for example, the use of AI as an artistic subject, as an agent (e.g. as an avatar) or as a tool in XR. From all submissions, our expert jury will select one concept to be co-developed at HTW Berlin as part of an Artistic Fellowship starting in May 2026.
- Open Call: SITZEN MACHEN! – Ausstellung zum Thema SitzmöbelNew04.02.26Sitting is one of the most fundamental human activities – and at the same time one of the most diverse design challenges. With the exhibition ‘Sitzen machen!’ (Make a seat!), we invite you to take a new and very modern look at seating furniture. Above all, we invite you to submit your contributions to the exhibition! And we have deliberately misunderstood the exclamation ‘Make seats!’ from the film ‘One, Two, Three’ even more than it already was, namely as a call to make seats: chairs, armchairs, stools or pouffes!

View all- Vital Architecture – Atelier Li Xinggang, Beijing06.02.26
16:00 — 18:30With Vital Architecture, Atelier Li Xinggang presents selected projects from China that create spaces where nature and the built environment merge into a living whole. Architecture is understood here as an interplay of space, environment, history and experience – a position between idealism and reality in which the built mediates and connects. Five spatial strategies form the foundation of a 'Vital City' concept, in which buildings do not stand in isolation but exist in poetic dialogue with their surroundings. The exhibition demonstrates how spatial knowledge is translated into concrete, contemporary architectural ideas, contributing to a vital built environment. - Creative Code StammtischNew06.02.26
19:30 — 21:30The Creative Code Stammtisch is a casual show-and-tell for artists, makers, designers, coders, performers, learners and anyone interested in the use of computing skills for artistic expression.
