Spotlight: GbR, UG und Partnergesellschaften

Learn how to use a 3-axis CNC machine now. In this six-hour workshop you will learn how to use the Routermax 1325 CNC milling machine at MotionLab.Berlin. This machine allows you to prototype 2D-3D parts through subtracting material by planing and milling parts of it. By the end of the session, you will have milled a series of parts from MDF that can be assembled.

This workshop offers a theoretical approach to XR technologies in art and culture. XR developer Christoph Holtmann will introduce the technological basics and share a developer’s perspective. Art scientist Maja Stark will present an example workflow and storyboard, as well as artistic projects for inspiration. Participants are warmly invited to bring and share their own examples of inspiring art and culture projects using augmented, mixed, or virtual reality! In the end we will reflect on possible combinations of XR and AI.

Over the past decade, her path has taken her across Europe and beyond, expanding from physical design into 3D technology and AI-driven creative systems. Living and working between cities has shaped her understanding of fashion as both a cultural and technological practice. She explores how digital tools reshape the way we create, collaborate, and think about change.
