Nach dem Schriftspaziergang lassen wir den Abend in einem Biergarten gemeinsam ausklingen. Hier sind alle willkommen, unabhängig von der Spaziergangsteilnahme.

Teams also need to heal and renew when individuals leave and enter the team by building trust as well as finding and fostering new skills.

What's new in New European Bauhaus?

The Creative Code Jam is a monthly gathering of artists, makers, designers, illustrators, coders, musicians, performers, learners and anyone interested in the use of computing skills for artistic expression. The jam is an opportunity to meet likeminded people and get creative together in a relaxed and safe environment.

The moderated concert given by the pianist Michal Friedländer and the musicologist Kai Hinrich Müller transports the audience into the musical world associated with the Bauhaus. The concert features music by German and US-American composers who were guests of the Bauhaus including the ultra-modernist George Antheil, Paul Hindemith and Kurt Weill.

Emotions and heartache in the land of geometry: Marc Blitzstein’s “Parabola and Circula” is finally being premiered! The probably only Cubist opera in the world was composed in 1929 based on a libretto by George Whitsett and its premiere was to have been given in cooperation with the Bauhaus in Dessau. These plans however never materialised – until the present day!

Die Ausstellung untersucht Farbe als ein Beziehungsgefüge – zwischen Materialität und Wahrnehmung, Theorie und Gestaltung. Gewebte Stoffproben, Materialkombinationen und skulpturale Objekte zeigen, wie Farbe sich im Zusammenspiel mit Licht, Struktur und Kontext immer wieder neu formt. Komplementärzustände eröffnet so einen erweiterten Blick auf Farbe: nicht als feste Eigenschaft, sondern als Prozess, Übergang und Dialog. Zur Finissage sprechen Meyers + Fügmann mit der Architektin Ester Bruzkus über die Entstehung von Farbentscheidungen zwischen Theorie und Intuition – und darüber, wie diese das räumliche Erleben prägen.
