In this hands-on workshop, Henning Grote introduces Wardley Mapping — a visual method for understanding user needs, dependencies, and the evolution of products and technologies. We're bringing together 22 creatives for a lunch meetup at Sfera in Berlin. It's your chance to meet like-minded people, share ideas, have meaningful conversations, and maybe even make new friends. Join us and connect with other creatives. The meetup will be hosted by Júlia Mota Albuquerque, a Brazilian freelance illustrator and muralist who has been living in Berlin for some time. When she is not outside painting one of her large murals, she works in a shared studio with other creatives in Neukölln.

#02 Crowdfunding: Kampagneninhalte

Yukiko Design School is a six-session course run by Studio Yukiko and Colorama in Berlin, combining evening classes on the 7th, 21st and 28th of October and the 4th of November from 5 to 7.30pm with a collaborative production weekend on the 7th and 8th of November from 12 to 4pm, where participants develop their own publication exploring editorial design, sequencing and typographic storytelling before printing and binding an individual 12-page Risograph-printed publication in an edition of 25, priced at €460.

Taste has become Silicon Valley's word of the year – OpenAI's president calls it a core skill, Paul Graham says it's the only differentiator left – yet almost nobody explains how to build it. Breno makes the case that taste is a practice with real exercises behind it, the same ones that trained painters' eyes for centuries, adapted for people who design software.
